Fear Not Death (Eulogy Version 2)

Lowell, Massachusetts

But fear not death, oh soul, so frail and small,

For in that sleep, a final peace will call.

No heavy dreams, no burdens left to haunt,

Just silent grace, beyond all earthly want.

Beyond the veil, where time has lost its thread,

A gentle love will comfort all the dead.

No pain, no shadow—only sweet release,

Where all the chains of mortal striving cease.

So grieve no loss, but see a spirit free,

Whose loving light will live in memory.

An echo soft in every heart they knew,

Forever bright, forever strong and true.
